Director of Projects
Kim is the Director of Projects for the Prince’s Foundation, where he is responsible for managing and leading our multi-disciplinary ‘projects team’.
Kim has over 15 years in the field of urban design, master planning and residential design. Whilst at the Foundation, he has managed a many of the Foundation’s flagship projects, both in the UK and internationally, including the master plan vision for Akanda - a new town extension of 17,000 new homes to the capital of Gabon.
Other work has included facilitating and delivering the Foundation’s Enquiry by Design workshops, in support of HM Government’s Local Communities’ Neighbourhood Planning initiative.
Prior to Working at the Foundation Kim was a group director with an architectural practice specializing in housing-led development for both private and public sector clients. A major focus of his work was delivering successful housing-led regeneration projects, from visioning and working with stakeholders, to delivery of major outlines planning applications and design guidance documentation.
Kim is a qualified Architect and has a degree in Landscape Architecture. He has also lectured units in History and Technology at Greenwich University.
