How to apply to the Building Crafts Apprentices Programme

Who can apply

Applications are welcomed from craftspeople who have studied any of a wide variety of building skills. Applicants must have attained either a United Kingdom NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or equivalent from a centre of vocational excellence, or an equivalent qualification in traditional building skills from a recognised authority. The closing date for applications is 26th February 2010 and the course begins on 19th July 2010.

Successful applicants will receive a monthly bursary for the duration of the programme.

Or call the Education Manager for an application to be posted to you.

Send the following documents to the address below:

A printed copy of the completed application form
A full and complete reference and the name and contact details of your referee, who should be your tutor or employer
Copies of all relevant academic or professional certificates (please do not send originals)
A portfolio of your work to date

Make a note of the date you sent your application.
It is recommended that you get a certificate of posting from the Post Office when you send your application.
