Prince's Foundation's prize-winning plan for Ellon featured in Aberdeen Press and Journal

...The community of Ellon helped devise the plan for their town, created by the Prince’s Foundation for the Built Environment and partners Urban Design Associates, Scotia Homes and Aberdeenshire Council.

The Prince’s Foundation team set out by consulting residents to find out what they wanted the town to be like in the future.

A consensus said they should be able to live, work and spend leisure time locally and that the core of the town should have improved access and perform better as a centre.
