Ben Bolgar is the Senior Design Director at the Prince’s Foundation for the Built Environment.
Since 2000 he has led multi-disciplinary design workshops and design teams ranging in scale from new towns to single buildings focussed on community and skills building. He is also responsible for design advice to charities of which The Prince of Wales is Patron.
As a practising architect he has been responsible for front-end design and co-ordination of new houses and office buildings in the UK and abroad. He has also been employed in construction, engineering, education, furniture making, music and acting. Ben is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects, the Architecture Club, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and Trustee of the International Network for Traditional Building, Architecture and Urbanism.
