The Prince’s Foundation for the Built Environment

Walthamstow Town Centre

The Foundation is working with the London Borough of Waltham Forest and the London Development Agency to prepare a blueprint for the future of the Walthamstow Town Centre.

Through an Enquiry by Design held in Walthamstow in May, a masterplan, with supporting guidance, was produced for Walthamstow Town Centre.  The masterplan addresses issues including land use, building heights, transport, housing, retail and leisure.  The masterplan was endorsed by the London Borough of Waltham Forest cabinet in September and will be released, by the Council, for public consultation in October.
