Evening to say big thank you to shelter helpers - Ellon Times

Ellon Community Council last week hosted a special thank you supper and ceilidh evening for all those who have been involved with the designing and building of the new shelter in Gordon Park.

The event took place in the New Inn on Thursday, October 29 and in addition to the 11 Prince's Foundation Building Craft apprentices who have been erecting the structure since October 12, the community council were delighted to be joined by representatives from the Prince's Foundation, Addison Conservation & Design, Ellon Civic Pride, Ellon Gordon Cricket Club, Ellon Strategy Group, Ellon Tennis Club, Fyfe Glenrock, Laing Traditional Masonry, Scotia and Tain Slating.  READ ON »
