Venue Hire

The Prince’s Foundation is located in a converted Victorian warehouse in Shoreditch, surrounded by galleries and museums at the heart of the East End of London's vibrant art scene.

The Gallery

A simple but stylish conference and event space with the capacity for 90 people seated and 200 standing. The gallery is equipped with a modern hanging system, adjustable halogen track lighting and built-in AV equipment. 

The space benefits from exposed brickwork and natural wood flooring giving it a warm welcoming feel - ideal for lectures, conferences and receptions.

Monday - Friday between 8.30am & 5.30 pm

HIRE TIMES

Hire charges apply to all hours booked, including times required for setting up events and clearing the room completely at the end of the hire period. Evening events must end by 9.00 pm (with the building cleared by 9.30 pm.)

TERMS & CONDITIONS

All hires must be confirmed in writing. Full payment must be received within 30 days before the event. A contract outlining full terms and conditions will be issued as soon as written confirmation of a booking is received.

Conference seating and a limited number of trestle tables are included in the room hire charges. Hirers are free to hire other furniture or equipment from suppliers of their choice.

ACCESS

Venue space is fully accessible for wheelchair users. There is a ramp from the pavement to the top of the gallery entrance and an adapted WC is available.

CATERING

We have a list of preferred caterers with whom we would be pleased to put you in contact with. Hirers wishing to use caterers not on our list will be charged a catering surcharge of 10% of the hire charge. The Gallery is equipped with a professional standard kitchen. We are only able to allow access to the cooking facilities and equipment in the kitchen to suitably trained professional caterers.

STAFF & CLEANING CHARGES

Events taking place after 5.30 pm may be subject to additional staff charges to cover the cost of a Duty Manager and building security. Additional staff may be required for certain other events. There may also be charges for cleaning, rubbish removal and glass recycling depending on the event. We will discuss all charges with you and provide a detailed quotation at the time of booking.

DISCOUNT HIRE CHARGES

Discount rates are available to UK registered charities, certain not-for-profit organizations. Proof of eligibility for discounted rates will be required. 

TRAVEL

The nearest tube is Old Street which is a 5 minute walk away, or Liverpool Street which is a 10 minute walk. The easiest bus route is either the 43, 76, 141 or 271 to and from North London run along City Road (south of Old Street), or the 55 and 243 from Holborn run along Old Street. The nearest British Rail link is at Liverpool Street or London Bridge which is a 30 minute walk. There is no parking available at the Prince’s Foundation or in Charlotte Road. A multi storey car park in available on the corner of Curtain Road/Great Eastern Street (4 minutes walk). Evening parking is located on Leonard Street (4 minute walk).
